Hashituky is a professional worker. With 5 years of experience in the leading project in consultancy activities and 10 experience in working for different organizations in the Education sectors, he can use the solid organizational and lean management skills to raise profitability for the Excel Business Solutions company. He is a mature team worker and adaptable to all challenging situations.
He is capable to work well both in a team environment as well as using own initiative. He is finishing his final year of Ph.D. in Mathematics Education at the African Center of Excellence for Innovative Teaching and Learning Mathematics and Science (ACEITLMS).
He is a master's degree holder in the field of mathematics and science education from Hiroshima University (HU), Japan, a bachelor’s degree holder in Science education and business studies from Kampala University (KU), Uganda, and a Diploma in Mathematics and Physics with Education from Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) currently named UR-CE.
From 2016, Hashituky has been a specialist for developing clear strategic plans to support teachers' Continuous Professional Development (CPD) as well as strengthening CBC implementation at the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) and Rwanda Education Board (REB). He was also a Manager and responsible for the lesson study program at the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Rwanda. His multi-cultural background and focus on community collaboration have led him to several volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles.
He was responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the JICA Project, which involves in-depth: Managing field workers and work breakdown structure by organizing the team's work into manageable sections, Communication with District, Sector and school staffs including teachers in planning and organizing schedule to meet them through prior arrangement on-site consultation between them and JICA Project to effectively conduct the targeted activities without interfering with their activities, Developing annual plans and review the implementation of annual plans for work and making a regular update to meet the changes and any challenging issue in functions, Collecting information, analyses, interpret, make reports, and protect all the information, Support the teammates in planning, preparation, communication, and delivery of all project activities including managing logistics. Hashituky is a native of Rwanda and has lived in Uganda and Japan.
